I was in a used bookstore in Seattle when I picked up a book that would ignite a passion for counselling and psychology. Two years later and after over a decade as a lawyer, I decided to pursue my Masters in Counselling Psychology. I’m so grateful to have found my passion, and to be able to share in the growth and healing of my clients.
I bring this passion for helping others as well as my previous professional experience to my therapist role. I always aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental and open space for you to be heard, and to help guide you along your path towards increased self-awareness, improved relationships, and creating a meaningful life. I take an integrative approach, drawing from a number of different modalities, including client-centred, compassion-focused, acceptance and commitment therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
I completed my masters in counselling psychology with Yorkville University, and am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
